At Direct Liquidation, our inventory is systematically classified based on the condition of the items to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction. Here is a detailed outline of each category:
-
Brand New: These are items in impeccable, retail-ready condition with no cosmetic defects, blemishes, dents, scratches, or signs of age. They come in their original, factory-sealed manufacturer packaging and have never been opened or used. These items come with a 90-day warranty from DirectLiquidation.com, starting from the day of product pickup.
-
Refurbished Grade A: These items are in "like new, retail ready" condition with no cosmetic defects, blemishes, dents, scratches or signs of age. They have been restored to meet manufacturer quality standards and are repackaged in clean original boxes, or new white or brown boxes. Each box includes a label with the make, model, serial number, and a scannable barcode for inventory systems. These items come with a 90-day warranty from DirectLiquidation.com, starting from the day of product pickup.
-
Refurbished Grade B: These items have been inspected, tested, and restored to the original manufacturer's operating specifications. They are in "retail ready" condition but may have slight cosmetic defects. The same repackaging and labeling process as Grade A items is followed, and these items also come with a 90-day warranty from DirectLiquidation.com, starting from the day of product pickup.
-
Refurbished Grade C: These items, like Grades A and B, have been inspected, tested, and restored to the original manufacturer's operating specifications. They are in "retail ready" condition but may have significant cosmetic defects. The repackaging, labeling, and warranty procedures are identical to the previous grades.
-
Refurbished Grade D: These items have very significant cosmetic defects. Despite this, they come with a 90-day warranty from DirectLiquidation.com, starting from the day of product pickup.
-
Untested Customer Returns: These are items that have been sold to an end user and returned through a retail storefront, manufacturer, website, and/or distribution center. No testing or repairs have been attempted on these products in our facilities. While there is typically a 75% plug-and-play success rate, warranties are not valid for these items, and they are sold "as is."
-
Tested Not Working (Salvage): These items have undergone general repairs but have failed a technical functionality and/or physical condition test. Packaging may be opened, distressed, and/or missing, and essential components, accessories, and documentation might be lacking. No warranties are offered for these items, and they are sold "as is."
-
Damaged/Missing Parts: These are retail returns that have been visually inspected and show obvious signs of damage or have key parts or accessories missing. No testing or repairs have been attempted on these products, and their operational condition is unknown. They come without warranties and are sold "as is."
-
Scrap: These items have undergone extensive repairs and parts harvesting but have failed a technical functionality and/or physical condition test. They might lack key components, accessories, and documentation. In some cases, an R2 certification may be required as the items are destined for recycling. They are sold "as is" and come without warranties.
We hope this classification system aids in your purchasing decisions. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further clarification. Thank you for choosing Direct Liquidation.
